More Game Of Thrones season 3 casting rumours
More casting news has arrived for Game Of Thrones' third season, with actors potentially cast as Vargo Hoat and Selyse Florent... Despite HBO keeping schtum on official announcements or confirmations, casting rumours are coming in thick and fast for Game of Thrones' next season. We expect more to follow where these came from, so we'll keep this brief. Entertainment Weekly has today picked up on the Mackenzie Crook/Vargo "The Goat" Hoat rumour that did the rounds last week, and is tentatively reporting Crook's attachment to the part.EW has also heard that Waking the Dead's Tara Fitzgerald is in the running for the part of Selyse Florent, wife to Stannis Baratheon and the woman who introduced Stannis to Melisandre's religion. Those who've read the books will know that Selyse isn't exactly famed for her good looks, so if Fitzgerald does take the part, it will either be another departure between the series and source material, or some prosthetics are in order. If confirmed, Fitzgerald will be the on-screen mother to Shireen Baratheon, played by young Kerry Ingram whose most recent role has been on stage in the Tim Minchin/Dennis Kelly adaptation of Matilda._________________________________________________
David Fincher Battles Over Budget on Netflix's 'House of Cards'
Netflix is getting a lesson in what it’s like to work with a top Hollywood auteur.Looking to reinvent itself as a premium channel, Netflix shocked the TV industry in May by committing $100 million to a hefty 26 episodes of House of Cards, based on a British 1990 miniseries. Kevin Spacey is set to produce and star opposite Robin Wright in the American version, playing a politician who becomes corrupt as his ambitions grow. The series is scheduled to debut this year, but multiple sources say friction has developed between Oscar-nominated director David Fincher (The Social Network), who is executive producing the series, and independent studio Media Rights Capital over budget issues -- specifically, Fincher’s desire for more money. Fincher is set to direct the first two episodes, but sources say the prickly talent has even threatened to depart over his displeasure.Netflix referred inquiries about the production to MRC, which denies a dispute, expressing support for Fincher and the project. “Everything’s fine and moving ahead,” the rep says. The start of production in Baltimore, originally scheduled for March, has been pushed to April, though a source says that was to accommodate Spacey’s schedule. Fincher has a well-established reputation for aggressively pursuing his vision despite cost concerns.“It’s like, Netflix — welcome to the content business,” says a producer who has worked with Fincher. “You buy retail, you’re going to pay retail.”Actually, Netflix is only on the hook for a licensing fee, so budget overages are MRC’s problem. The 6-year-old company has met with mixed success in television, producing the HBO series The Life and Times of Tim and The Ricky Gervais Show, the latter an animated version of the comic’s podcasts, but losing millions in an effort to create a programming block for The CW. Those who have worked with MRC say the company, which has made The Adjustment Bureau and the upcoming Seth MacFarlane vehicle Ted, is not known for hands-on producing experience. An executive says the usual MRC pitch is, “ ‘We’re going to finance your movie; you’re completely in charge, we’re not going to mess with you.’ And then the director has creative protection from the studio.”In that context, Fincher might have been a particularly challenging partner. “David is fantastic, but David isn’t easy,” says Bill Mechanic, who ran Fox when Fincher made Fight Club. “If you don’t know how to manage a budget, [using Fincher] probably isn’t the smartest thing to do.”_________________________________________________ Amanda Palmer hopes nudity will be Ok with people of Internet Amanda Palmer raised nearly $1.2 million on Kickstarter. And then she celebrated. The record that money is helping make, "Theatre Is Evil," will be out Sept. 11. She's coming to the Wonder Ballroom on Sept. 28.
Today, she's released a video, "Want It Back." It's Not Safe For Work, because in it, Amanda Palmer is nekkid, naked, nude or whatever SEO gold you like best. The press release sayeth : Body politics, and body pride, have always been a strong theme for Amanda: “I'm so comfortable being naked at this point that I almost forget… I'm also proud that that video has nudity, but it isn’t sexual or erotic.... it's using the body as a raw canvas, which I love.” Although a “censored version” of the video will be made available online, Palmer hopes the video will be widely seen in it’s original form, despite some nudity.
Obviously we wish Ms. Palmer luck in getting the people of the Internet to look at nakedness._________________________________________________ Maggie Grace lesbian kiss
* the talk of the Tinseltown have revolved around the close friendship between Maggie and Helen Hunt. Miss Hunt have become a some sort of a mentor to Maggie. Acquring roles for Miss Grace. It was due to Helen advice she accepted David Duchovny offer to audition for the role of Faith. Maggie was also blown away by Helen's brave performance in The Sessions (2012) and finally muster up the courage to go nude on-screen for very first time. Maggie's nudity will be the most anticipated in 2013 just because we never ever saw Maggie in a cock-teasing scene (implied topless, bare back or even ass-crack shot). It will be freaking great if she gets a spin-off . It'll also mean she will up for anything to make sure the show gets picked-up including doing her first full-frontal and super graphic love scenes._________________________________________________ Olivia Munn: My Topless Scene in Magic Mike "Didn't Feel Gratuitous"Olivia Munn doesn't play a stripper in Magic Mike, but that didn't prevent her from stripping down onscreen! In an interview with Vulture, the actress, 32, admits she "forgot" about her topless scene "until I saw it at the premiere.""The way it was shot didn't feel gratuitous -- I think that's what every actress says, right? There are very few directors I would ever do it for. Also, my character was getting out of the shower and to keep it as realistic as possible, I didn't wear a shirt in the shower. The day of the shoot, I locked it down. I only wanted the people who absolutely had to be there. I even cleared out video village, which you'd normally forget about."Unlike her costars Channing Tatum, 32, Matthew McConaughey, 42, Alex Pettyfer, 22, Matt Bomer, 34, and Joe Manganiello, 35 -- all of whom wore barely-there thongs to play a troupe of male strippers -- Munn was more shy in-between takes. "When they'd yell 'Cut!' I'd get my robe. The guys? They'd still be all asses shaking, walking around. They didn't put their robes on ever."
In Magic Mike, Munn's character, Joanna, is afraid of commitment -- something the actress has witnessed firsthand. "I based her on an ex-boyfriend. It's that guy you're dating who's fun, cute, you have great sex, and then three weeks into it you go, 'So, my friends are doing this little party. . .' and he's like, 'Whoa! What? I thought we were just having fun,'" Munn tells Vulture. "When women do that? They're a bitch or a slut. I wanted her to be neither. She's a sexual person. She's doing what she wants."_________________________________________________
Sebastian Tellier is known for flirting with just bout every genre (and woman’s heart) on the planet. The beards, suits, and non-stop sex vibe that permeates every record he has released. Bobby previously touched on Sexuality, probably his landmark record (and one of the best album covers ever). It’s neo-Parisian cool, dirty bohemian living at its best. The song is great but the video is amazing (and 100% NSFW). Cochon Ville translates, loosely, into “Pig City,” but taken in a sexualized context, it is excessive sexual indulgence. The swirling disco beat hits and Tellier’s command to “Prosterne toi! Danse! Rêve!” (“Prostate yourself, Dance, Dream”) are narcotic, intoxicating words that could only lead to sensual transfiguration. This is an orgiastic demonstration of music but also a damn fun party track. Feel free to put your hands in the air listening to this one. And put this video on when the 3 AM dance party needs to take a sensual turn._________________________________________________ Allison Williams: Slow Jamz Those Glasses

Olympic athletes leak Village's sex, drinking and drug secrets
Let the games — and the wild, drunken sex and debauchery — begin! In the run-up to the 2012 Summer Olympics, which kick off July 27, a new book reveals just what goes on at Olympic Villages worldwide — and no matter the host country, it’s always a struggle keeping booze and condoms in strong supply.According to the anonymously authored exposé “The Secret Olympics” — written by a former British competitor — organizers supplied 70,000 condoms to athletes at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. The stockpile ran out in a week. While alcohol and drugs are banned at Olympic Villages, competitors often fill water bottles with booze and smuggle in weed and doping agents.“When I’m there, I’m in two different gears,” says one female US Olympian, who spoke to The Post on the condition of anonymity. “I’m so focused that I see nothing else, or I’m partying my butt off.”While officials don’t condone such behavior, they don’t condemn it, either — the only thing that matters, say those who spoke to The Post, is that the image of the Olympics remain unsullied.Or, as the anonymous author writes: “What happens in the Village stays in the Village.”Remember the worldwide outrage and disbelief when swimmer Michael Phelps — who won eight gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics — was caught smoking pot out of a huge bong in 2009? Or, that same year, when a stripper named Theresa White came forward to say that Phelps likes threesomes and short girls, and that he “should get another gold medal for lovemaking”?If Phelps were a major-sport athlete, none of those revelations would have been surprising.Olympians, however, are held to an impossibly high standard.“We could never be part of a reality show,” says the female Olympian. “The USOC [United States Olympic Committee] wants a particular image and brand.”Olympic Villages are vast, pre-fab communities, divided into smaller subdivisions by nation. The United States’ area has a 24-hour McDonald’s, as well as sponsored beer halls: a Budweiser House and a Heineken House.Everything is free — including the unlimited supply of condoms, stamped with sports-specific logos. (Curlers, for example, get wrappers stamped with little curling stones.)Olympians, however, say that the insatiable demand for condoms is a giant practical joke.“It’s a tradition — taking so many that they have to replace them,” says Todd Lodwick, the 35-year-old-five-time Olympic Nordic combined athlete and a two-time gold medalist. “It’s a myth: ‘Oh, look at all the sex these Olympians are having!’ ”Lodwick admits, however, that Olympians do have more sex than usual at the Olympics.“How could you not?” he says. “If the opportunity is there and it presents itself . . .”Lodwick and the female Olympian say that there’s a divide among athletes at the Villages: Those who are the elite of the elite, who train with a singular focus and abstain from drugs, sex and booze until their events are over, and those who do not.“At the Olympic Village, they call it ‘Days of Glory,’ ” says the female athlete. These are the post-competition attempts to fill each remaining day at the Village with as much alcohol-drenched sex as possible.“You stay up all night and party, and you wait for McDonald’s to start serving breakfast at 4:30 in the morning,” she says. “You eat, sleep, then get up at 9 or 10 a.m. for press, and then you start partying all over again. Two years ago, it was Day 6 or 7 [of partying] for me, and I was like, ‘I quit.’ And they were like, ‘You call yourself an Olympian?’ ”She rallied. Then there are the lesser athletes who know they have no chance of rating, let alone winning a medal, or whose events are not as physically taxing. Some of these are known to get the party started early, before they’ve had to compete.“I could definitely see other athletes doing that to blow off steam,” says the female Olympian.“If I were to reincarnate myself, I’d come back and do curling,” says Lodwick. “What other sport can you not be in shape for, and still be considered at top athlete?”While curlers are held in the lowest esteem athletically, they are considered gold medalists when it comes to partying. After the female Olympian finished competing at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, she checked out of the Village and went to stay with the curlers, who were off-site at a hotel in Whistler.“That was a party house,” she says. “Curlers are known for drinking. The sport doesn’t require that much.”As for the sex, “The Secret Olympian” writes, “No matter what your type, the Olympic Village can cater [to] it, providing the best physical examples on earth . . . Having completed competition, the athletes need to do something else to burn off their boundless energy. Like thoroughbred horses which haven’t had a run for a while, they get frisky.”And given that the Village is its own private, high-security city-state walled off from the real world, “no one need know about your indiscretions.”“I was feeling super-guilty for cheating on my boyfriend,” says the female Olympian. “And a fellow athlete said, ‘Why? Everyone hooked up last night.’ ”The most surprising part of US Olympic tradition? Getting so wasted the night before you take your traditional post-Games trip to the White House that the next morning, as you’re shaking hands with the president, you’re still drunk.Olympians arrive in DC the night before, and Ludwick says officials do what they can to keep them in line. “We definitely get a stern pep talk,” he says. “It’s pretty much: ‘You f- -k this up, all of this, for all of you, is done!’ ”Then they hit the town.“It’s a big reunion,” Lodwick says. “You get completely blotto. By the end of the night, everyone’s sleeping in a room they shouldn’t be sleeping in.”Then comes the wake-up call.“It’s a sobering experience, knowing you were still drunk at 5 a.m. and are on a bus by 7 to meet the president at 10,” he says. “There are smart people on the bus drinking water, and the smarter ones are like, ‘F--k it, let’s keep this party rolling.’ When the Games are over, I’m in peak drunk state.”The female Olympian says her experience at the White House in 2010 was similar.“It scared the crap out of me,” she says. “I woke up with this guy — I drank so much, I had no recollection of what happened. And I’m going to meet the president, and I’m still drunk. Vice President Biden — I think he was smelling my breath. He was so close, I could’ve licked his nose without moving. I know I reeked of liquor. I was mortified, but they were all smiling.”All morning, she says, the entire US Olympic team was struggling. “We were texting each other about how much agony we were in,” she says. “It was hilarious.”Being drunk at the White House, Lodwick says, has been a tradition as long as he’s been competing — and, as with every other event, it’s something that the athletes gear up for. After the Games, says Lodwick, “You feel the energy of everyone being done. It’s like, ‘Holy s--t!’ There’s an energy felt around blowing it out. It’s a f--king blast. Everyone’s like, ‘See you in two months at the White House!’ ”_________________________________________________
I have the contacts of top mamasans in Singapore: Star minderby Maureen Koh
She no longer "entertains any delusion that married stars don't cheat".This veteran star minder, who has worked with international, regional and local celebrities, says: "I used to like this particular singer, who's well-known as a family man... but each time his wife is not in town with him, he'd end up going back to the hotel with two or three hostesses."
She is hesitant about being named because "if you want the dirt, I can give you, but that will mean names are a no-no".
"I'll be putting my rice bowl at risk if word gets around," says the minder, who is in her late 40s.
People who meet her the first time go "oooh" and "ahhh" when the woman presents her name card that reads: Nanny to the Stars.
Flip the card over and she lists some top names in showbiz - both Asian and Western.
"Sex and sleaze" is sometimes part of the deal.
She says: "Okay, not so much like pimping, but I have the contact numbers of some of the top mamasans in town.
"Some of them love to head down to the top nightclubs here and we have to ensure that they get the best room, best service and of course, the best-looking girls."
She adds: "I always make sure that I have a packet each of all the brands of condoms at hand any time."
So, you are wrong if you think that rubbing shoulders with the stars is a big deal, says the minder with a snort.
"The job is hardly glamorous or exciting. You essentially have to do everything from organising the whole trip for an entourage to meeting star demands.
"Often, I feel like pulling my hair out and that's why I now sport a short crop."
And speaking of stars, the big names are easier to manage because "they generally leave us to do our job".
"They expect that we know what they want and all we need to do is ensure that their short schedule here runs smoothly."
Besides, the big stars will have usually have their own minders, who'd see to their personal needs.
Unlike the up-and-coming stars who "sometimes forget they are not there (at the top) yet".
The minder recalls one classic example: "This male singer, who has cut only one successful album, demanded to go on air at every radio station.
"But the thing is, if you have only one song that is popular in four years and no new releases, and you come here every three to four months, who's really interested?"
She adds: "I couldn't even get any media keen enough to consider an interview with him."
In the end, he threw a fit here and refused to turn up at an event at a shopping mall, cut short the trip and returned to Taiwan, demanding that his record company terminate the minder's contract.
"Thank God. I was trying to get out of the contract without having to compensate the company."
This minder worked with several record labels for about 20 years before she decided to go solo and run her own consultancy firm.
"With the rampant downloading of songs over the Internet and piracy control issues, it became harder and pointless to try and promote new album releases," she explains.
"Since I've built up a contact base, I felt it'd be easier to work with some of the stars on an ad-hoc basis. It leaves me time to pursue my other interests."
Her role starts from the minute a star confirms his or her trip to Singapore.
First, hotel suites to book - and that can get quite iffy if the star has a personal preference and the suite is taken up.
She explains: "It's important to make sure that you are good friends with some of the hotels' PR (public relations) people, so that you can call for favours if the need arises."
She once had to "literally plead with a PR head" just to get the desired suite for an international star who insisted on staying in the same suite just because "the view from the bathtub would be inspiring to his music".
"I don't know how that works, but I don't ask, I just get the job done. It didn't help that he was here on a personal visit, so for the hotel, it meant there'd be inconveniences (like hiring extra security personnel) and there's no publicity in return," she says.
In the end, the minder promised very good seats at the superstar's concert for the PR head and her team.
Organising the star's itinerary includes putting together media conferences and interviews.
Then there are meals to order and "for some strange reasons, most of the Asian stars just love Hainanese chicken rice and pandan chiffon cakes".
Beauty regimen tops the list of priorities for the female stars, who can be expected to throw a diva tantrum if anything goes wrong.
"While most of them may have their personal make-up artists or hair stylists, some still request local services," says the minder.
She recalls how one female star was so upset when she could not get celebrity hairstylist David Gan.
"The star refused to take no for an answer and insisted that she was 'famous' enough to demand his time for free," she says.
"But hello, the stylist was in China at that time, what do you expect?"
Eventually, the star was so upset that she refused to speak to the minder directly for the whole trip.
Most of the female stars generally love shopping and it's the minder's job to try and get doors open before or after business hours sometimes.
She says: "It's usually to prevent them from getting mobbed by fans."
Secrets of the trade
1. Know your stars, right down to the private details: You don't want to be caught in the rut. Like, dissing gay men in front of a macho actor, who is actually gay. "My face burned from shame," says the minder.
2. Keep your cool, don't take it personally: Things do go wrong and frustrated people can start shouting. "This diva screamed at me for not filling her tub, I just got it done. Before she left, she bought me a Louis Vuitton handbag that she knew I wanted."
3. Don't panic: Anything that can go wrong will go wrong at the wrong time. "You must be able to think on your feet, there's always a solution somehow." OF A STAR MINDER
